Ensure all tasks for Mr Dougan and Mrs McDonald-Holmes are up to date including:
For DG all photoshop work including:
- images into text
- defining text as brushes.
- previous photoshop creative text ( see older posts)
- thumbnails for front cover double page spread and contents page.
- exam paper
for PM all work including:
- What is Digital Media
- Unit 1 - Learning Outcome 1 - Media Ownership/ Structures - Question 1-7
Deadline is next Monday (5th November)
Unit 1. LO3. research into codes and conections of a magazine front cover
Complete the sheet handed out by Mr Dougan and upload to your blog ( remember your blog is actually a unit called 'creating an on line profile' and as such needs to be kept up to date to fulfill a pass):
You need to justify your observations on differences and similarities for the TWO magazine that you look at, for example :
- You could write ' both magazines have a Masthead'
or
- ' both magazines use the convention of placing the Masthead at the top of the page and use about a 5th of the cover in order to ensure that the magazine is easily identifiable to the target audience'
Make sure you look at the genre of magazine you would like to create for a final product
Choices are:
- new music magazine
- fashion magazine
- or school magazine.
Mrs McDonald-Holmes will re- handout the exam paper on Thursday's lesson and the deadline for completion is Monday the 5th November
Fail to hand in will result in a missed deadline being recorded.
